Dr. Pejman Pourarbab AKA "Dr. PJ." Is a board certified Chiropractic Physician and a Licensed physiotherapist. He was the final group of graduates from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in April of 1999 before it became Southern California University of Health and Sciences. Since then, he has focused on other means of manipulation than the main stream spinal adjustments and use of electronic devices. It is his belief that a healthy being must have a healthy mind followed by a healthier structure or frame followed by a healthy muscular system. It is also his belief that our bodies are made and governed in majority, by muscle or soma.
Dr. PJ. Has owned and operated Body Care Clinic, a small but successful private practice since the year 2000. However after a recent relocation from Arcadia, he has now officially re-established the old practice with the new and started Neo Chiro United since September of 2008.
"As a young practitioner, I completed the normal requirements to become a Doctor of Chiropractic but all through my training, I knew there was something missing ....something I really couldn't put my finger on at the time. As I gained more experience and became increasingly comfortable with my skills and levels of expertise, I began to learn so many things from my patients that were never touched on through my training. I listened to their bodies and how they responded to my treatments. I saw how their pain subsided, their bodies came into alignment, and their physiological composition changed after treatments on my table. I watched their reactions and saw how their mental clarity increased, their attitudes improved, and their sense of well-being became apparent. In essence, I learned just how intricately the physical body interacts intimately with the mind - flowing back and forth - each affecting the other.
Along with the physical and mental interaction, I saw how my own physical body mechanics and mental attitude also interacted with theirs and affected the outcome of the treatment. There was a constant energy exchange that I could not ignore. The more I watched the interactions between Doctor and patient, the more excited I became."
